Oracle State Park, Arizona
Originally ranch property owned by Lucille Kannally, the 4,000 acre section was donated to The Defenders of Wildlife (DOW) in her will, with the stipulation it become a wildlife reserve. The property was offered to Arizona for a State Park in 1985. Oracle State Park was established as both a wildlife refuge and an environmental education center.
Lyman Lake State Park
The 1200 acre State Park known as Lyman Lake has an elevation of 6,000 feet. The sheer size of Lyman Lake in Arizona makes it able to welcome boats of any size. There is no size limit on boats that are allowed on the lake. People with big boats are welcome to float in for fun just like the rest of the world. The fishing on the lake is known for its bountiful yields. Walleye, largemouth bass, and catfish are some of the main catches of the day for fishermen lucky enough to make their way onto Lyman Lake.
Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area in Show Low, Arizona
The White Mountains of northeastern Arizona, with their forests of ponderosa and pinyon pines, rolling mountain meadows, and abundance of creeks and lakes, offer visitors a wide variety of outdoor activities. At an elevation of approximately 6,300 feet, Show Low serves as the center of the White Mountain vacation area by virtue of both location and size. Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Arizona is close to Cottonwood in the Verde Valley in central Arizona.
