I went fishing for the first time this past summer. Unfortunately, I got sea sick. I want to take my girls because I want them to experience everything life has to offer. Is there a trick not to get sea sick? How young were your kids when you took them out to fish out to sea?

If you feel you are starting to get sea sick then look at the horizon for a bit, and you should feel better.

Depending on the age there are patches for prevention of sea sickness you can try. Another option is to look up a Ginger tea recipe (iced); when I went on a boating excursion they had it on board, it doesn't completely take it away but it help me a lot and I was able to enjoy the day.
