Default Saltwater Croc Caught Alive

Did anyone see the story on the giant saltwater croc some villagers in the Philippines caught alive on the 4th? Seems the croc came to the attention of the villagers when a water buffalo was nabbed by this giant in front of one of the villagers and they started trying to catch this guy. Here's the rest of the story...

I wonder if Croc is as good eating as alligator. That bad boy could feed the whole village.

Hahahahaha, yeah, croc stew for everyone! It's nice that they are going to make an exhibit to show the creature instead of killing it. But you know, I believe in Louisiana, they have a wildlife regulation that says any alligator abover 10 foot long, has to be killed if it's creating trouble. It's harvested though and that's good that nothing goes to waste.

Wow! That is one big croc! The article said it took a hundred people to haul the thing out of the water so the crane could pick it up. I don't think I would have wanted to be anywhere near that operation.

That thing is 21 feet! I imagine it is going to help bring a lot of money to the village when they finish their park. I for one would pay to see a monster like that.

I don't want to go anywhere near that monster! I don't like reptiles that much anyway and especially not ones this big. I am glad they are going to be able to profit from the problem though.

It made my hair stand just watching the video. It is really, really huge and frightening. I hope the animal lovers won't ask to set it free.

I think the villagers made a mistake. If it took so many people, just to wrangle th crocodile, what happens if something goes wrong with the exhibit? I think they would have been better off eating the crocodile!
