I have owned several .22's over the years. I know own 4 Ruger 10/22's. Great rifles with lots of available modifications to suit your shooting style.
My 4 10/22's range from a near out of the box walnut stock model with a few receiver group mods, to one that looks like an AR-15 for plinking.
With a good scope they are very accurate to 100 yards.
