Using Blowguns For Hunting

Blowguns are one of the oldest weapons used in hunting. The tip of the darts is often poisoned to make sure that the prey will be stunned.

Is there anyone here who have used blowgun for hunting? What poison did you use?

My nephews use blow guns to hunt smaller animals. I did not realize poison was involved. It seems kind of cruel to me. I have always told them that to begin with.
