Bears? or Moose?

I really want to go to Alaska and hunt something bigger than deer. Has anyone taken a road trip to Alaska to hunt? My brother lives there right now and he said some people do go moose hunting there.

Mose hunting definably. My family owns a lodge in northern Canada and we hunt for moose there. It is very rewarding, the heads make great mounts and the skins make in to nice things and they actually taste quite good. Keep in mind that is not like hunting deer. Moose in those parts are big, and can be a little dangerous. Just make sure you are more dangerous.

Moose hunting has always seemed really cool to me. They seem like such serene animals and I would definitely love to see them live in the wild one day.

Oh yeah, you could go about anywhere to bear hunt. Ok they do have some big ones up there. But a verifiable, large, racked male moose is a gem to add to your collection. Gotta keep the head at least!
