Turkey hunting

I have always wanted to hunt turkeys but never paid attention to it. I have always like hunting the bigger animals. Does anyone even know when turkey hunting season is?

Around these parts (I love sounding like a hick sometimes ... lol) it's in spring and fall. I don't know if it varies depending on your location but I would guess it does. What state are you in?
