Default Preserving Small Animals

Does anyone bring their small game catches to taxidermists to be preserved? Most preserved animals that I know of are from big game animals. Is it worth displaying small animals on the wall?

I've got a friend who has taken a couple of fox and pheasants to the taxidermist. They turned out pretty nice. He actually has a fox with a pheasant in the mouth displayed in his "game room".

Yes small game is preserved as well. Your first thought may be the big trophy on the wall but a lot of people like a nature display as room decorations. Fish, birds and small animals all have their place. It is just the skin and outer covering that is displayed, (fur, feathers, or scales) while the body was eaten as normal.

Taxidermy is a real art and the better artists in the field are swamped with work. Check out some of these displays.
