Default New Jersey Potential Ammunition Ban

Has anyone else heard about this? Apparently, the legislature in New Jersey is considering a bill that allows the attorney general to ban ammunition that "threatens the safety of their officers". Here is what I found about it on an NRA site.

Yes, I read it too. What are the chances of it passing the legislature? And don't you folks elect those legislaters?

Hi...

Yeah, I read about it too, on the Skinny Moose blog, I think. Don't know if they're trying to be PC or not.

There's quite a lot of hunters in that State, so, hopefully, something that ridiculous can be voted down if it reaches that stage.

NOTE:

"Pathfinder", who is now posting on this forum, is NOT Pathfinder1, which is me...!!

There may be a lot of hunters in NJ, but the bulk of the people live in the Philadelphia/New York corridor in urban areas such as Trenton and Newark (the armpit of the USA as far as I'm concerned), and they have drunk cases of the gun-control Kool-Aid.

NJ, NY (especially NYC) and MA have some of the worst gun laws in the US. I wouldn't be shocked if this passes. Just one more reason to stay out of NJ (as if I needed any more).
