Default Filming and Photography Underwater

I know that gears used underwater are expensive and this includes photo and video cameras. So how do you film or take photos when you go underwater?

What I normally see is that common divers will be filmed before and after the dive. But what about the actual dive in the water?

They covers available for digital cameras and they have waterproof disposable cameras if you want something cheap. I don't know about the quality of the pictures though.

I've used waterproof disposable cameras and the quality is fairly poor. I haven't tried the Outex stuff, but it looks really interesting to me. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing that equipment. I will try to consider that for my purchases on the coming year. I think its really a good investment protecting our cameras from being damage so we don't buy new cameras all the time.

I love photography and I've always wanted to go diving so I may have to start combining the two. I would like to learn to dive for the rescue squad I belong to near my home. I wonder how long it takes to be certified?
