Getting a boat

When you have never bought a boat before, what are you looking for exactly to make sure you are getting a good deal. I see some priced fairly decent but I know very little about them other than I want one.

It depends on what kind of boat you are looking for. First off you need to decide what you want to use it for (the main purpose), how much you are willing to spend, how many people need to be able to fit in the boat.
Once you have this information you should be able to narrow down your search.

I think that I have the same problem as yours because I am also interested in the purchase of the boat. I was surely asking for the advice of my friends but they gave me unskilled and inconsistent advices.
