Default Newbie boater, awww

We had a nephew join the family this year and he has never been on a boat (his dad is not a sportsman of any type) so the Day after Xmas we took him out, he is 13 and loved it. I guess he has been cooped up in the city for too long! He has never experienced fireworks either (poor kid) so on New Years we are going to hit that up as well. Even though its chilly (he is from the west coast), he loved the boat which I am so happy about, kind of broke him out of his shell.

Those are great experiences to have. My cousin came to visit us one summer from a city and we took him snipe hunting. You know, take the city boy out into the middle of the forest and leave him there. We followed him to make sure he didn't get hurt or in trouble. Man was he mad when he found us!
