Christmas gifts?

Did you get any good camping gifts for Christmas? I thought we were getting a new tent but apparently my MIL changed her mind and gave us money instead. lol We might buy a new one with the cash.

No didn't get any for Christmas but plan to buy some new gear before camping season begins here in upstate new york. Need a new strong lantern.a tent with a screened in portion attached for dry cooking when it rains. And a lake side tent to do some canoe camping in the Adirondacks next year.Also looking for some new sleeping bags. The list goes on but thats the main things we really need.How about you?

My aunt gave me a new Coleman propane lantern. I love it because I have been needing a new one for a while now and keep forgetting to buy one.

I got a cozy sleeping bag as gift from my dad. He knows that I like camping a lot so he gave me a new sleeping bag. This is the best present I had this Christmas.

I did! The guys that I let talk me into going camping in such cold weather bought me a huge sleeping bag that is supposed to be very warm. Just what I wanted!

We didn`t have much money this year. We only bought our kids a few things. I don`t think we need any camping gear. We have quite a few things already.

I got a new fishing rod as a Christmas gift from my friend who likes fishing. I now have an alternative to my old fishing rod. I like the new fishing rod because its light and very flexible.
