Skateboarders are notorious for being proud of their broken bones and road rash. With young people it is always a race between the maturity of the frontal lobe of the brain that controls judgement, and wether they get killed or paralyzed first. I know lots of ex-bull riders. They say the same thing- "I grew brains and quit."
