| I wouldn't worry too much about it scraping as I have beating the heck out of my kayak over the years and it still performs fantastic. The bottom of it is not pretty to look at but I look at them as battle scars and proof of the kayak being used (not abused).
Kayaks are pretty resilient and will take a lot of wear before that impacts performance, I have never seen any pads you can add but they may be out there. I would just suggest not worrying about it as it's going to be more cosmetic than anything else.
My motto is if it works, who cares what it looks like!
