I think it is a fascinating design. I was on a tour in Florida once in a large glass bottom boat, and the idea was to be able to see into the water below. It was an interesting perspective.

I have never seen anything like that in my life. But if it is made of polycarbonate it is a really tough and durable material. It is what bulletproof glass is made out of. You could also hammer a nail right through it and it wouldn't break. I would love to go for a ride in one of those hopefully one day.
