I'd like to take a raft trip down the Gauley, but not gonna happen this year...no bucks...no Buck Rogers.

Kinda ticks me off since Summersville is only about 90 minutes from me.

That's why I bought myself a whitewater kayak years ago. After you make the initial investment into boat and gear, it is a lot less expensive to get out on the river on a regular basis. Raft trips can be very pricey.
