Default Who would do this?

We were getting the kayak ready for this weekend and we realized someone has stolen the paddle. I suppose we should have put it in the shed, but who would do something like that?

The bad thing is, they probably didn't even need the thing. It crazy what people will do just to make them happy.

Lol, nice one coz. We never leave things like that around. I find that kids will see stuff like that and want to play with it. It is unfortunate they would do that but if they are then you have to be more careful.

Right! We all know about the gate locked after the horse is out. Hopefully, you have an extra paddle. What if you lost a paddle while you were out on your trip?

A friend of mine has his kayak stolen right out of his driveway a few weeks ago...you just never know.

I keep my canoe on a trailer. The canoe is tied down with a cable bike lock, and the hitch on the trailer has a padlock on it I'm in the process of making a gear locker to fit inside the bed of the trailer to hold the paddles, life jackets and misc. stuff like my anchor.

It was probably kids that took it. It's silly but a lot of kids would do something like that. I hung out with some friends when I was younger that would see something they could play with or thought was cool and they'd take it. They don't realize someone may need what they are taking just because it isn't expensive or something.

Where are you living that people are stealing paddles and leaving everything else behind? I mean are they going to steal your car tires and then leave the car too?
