Default Almost Thanksgiving

I love Thanksgiving, it's my favorite Holiday by far. What do you do for Turkey day? Do you cook and have family over? Do you go to someone's house? Do you go to a restaurant?

We always cook and have my family over. Us ladies then scour over the Black Friday ads looking for the best deals!

We usually do something different each year. We are going over to families this year but we have been known to all get together and go to a restaurant, which isn't to bad.

Looking at going to a restaurant this year. Tired of all the cooking and cleaning. Left overs are great the next day, but after that I can't stand them any more. Besides that, our oven took a dump on us this year. Looking at replacing it after the holidays. Either way the holidays will be great, just because of the off time from work.

Our two families live very far away from where we live. They are all city people and we live in a fairly remote area in the mountains. We like to cook something special and then go for a hike in the afternoon.

Heading over to my family to spend Thanksgiving there. Really looking forward to it, actually. I get to have some taste of good ol' home cooking of my mom. Nothing beats that.

I for one will be working Thanksgiving. Not sure what I will do after work. If I can get off work at my full time job may grab my pack and head into the woods for a quite solo trip.

We have said that for years but we have never actually managed to do it. For some reason it always sounds great before hand but by the time the holiday comes up we always change our mind.

Spending the day with my side of the family this year. Have a few friends coming over there too. I think we are bringing the pies this year. Everyone brings something.

We are going to try and hit three houses if we can swing it but I know its going to be a very long day. We have a brunch, a late lunch and a dinner set. I am thankful the commute will not be as insane as some others battle with.

This family is going to break in a brand new stove this holiday season so we are doing both Thanksgiving & Christmas here. So far we know of at least a dozen for each holiday so there will be plenty to eat thats for sure!
