Default Any survivalists here?

Are there any survivalists here? I have recently been doing some research on survival and was kind of surprised to find out how many people there are who are preparing for worst case scenarios.

I don't really consider myself a survivalist, but I've been interested in and have practiced primitive skills for most of my life. I enjoy it to start with and it can't hurt to know these things even if you never really need them.

That's kind of the way we look at it too. I'd rather have skills I may not need than need skills I do not have!

I thought about making a bug out bag out bag in case of a hurricane, but we tend to have plenty of warning. I do have the food packages to take when camping that you only need to add water to. I have yet to try one though.
