| Having lived in Wyoming the mere mention of the term "Arctic Wind" is terrifying. It is a place where people use an anchor chain for a wind gauge. Never open both doors of the pick-up at the same time or everything inside will be outdside.
Doing field work in the winter, we often checked each other for frostbite. It was minus 40 degrees F in the driveway, and winds often reached 60 mph. One hundred mph happened every once in a while.
