Getting dark early

Has anyone else notice how early it is getting dark now? Seemed to happen really fast this year too. Now it is completely dark here at 8:30, and a week or two ago we were watering the garden at 9 and still had some light.

It has seemed to change very quickly this year. Usually it seems to be more of a gradual thing, and happens closer to when the time changes.

Yeah, I'm starting to dread the time change too. I hate it when it gets dark at 6pm here in the East. I have terrible seasonal affective disorder during the winter and I try to get out as much as possible during the day.

Yes, those nice long days are starting to come to and end slowly but surely. I think the time changes the first part of Nov.? But you start noticing the shorter days around now.
