My son made a pretty good deal. He traded a plastic sword he got for his birthday and a large Nerf gun that he never plays with for a $10 toy he loves. He is getting pretty good at bargaining.

Hey if you can start them when they are young, bargaining is a great tool to master. I remember as a teen going to garage sales and auctions getting great deals.

I like to take my kids to garage sales and have them bargain. They get better at it each time and people seem to think it is cute and like to bargain to help teach them. Gets them some extra good deals.

That is really cool. They are never too young to start learning the art of barter and trade, and it will serve them well later in life.
