After seven months with barely any precip we finally got a change in the synoptic weather pattern and have opened the door for more. A couple of feet of snow in the bare Sierra, and rain and wet snow at the house.

I only wish it could have come 2 days earlier. In south Reno a range fire took out 3,200 acres and 29 houses in one day. That is unheard of for January when it it normally wet.

Funny you should mention that. I've had about a foot of snow in the last week, raining now and in the "slush and flooding" stage. I've got all the water you want, just lacking a way to get it there.
