| I live in a pretty rural spot. So wildlife is an every day occurrence for us here.
There are a group of about 20 turkey I see every morning, they've gotten so use to me being outside that they are almost like pets. They don't run off when they see me, or get in the vehicle and leave for work.
In the evenings there are a few deer that pass through getting them a bite to eat out of the yard along the way. They spook quite a bit easier than the turkey, but they just run back to the edge of the tree line when they see me, which still isn't too far.
During the spring and summer you can't walk for all the rabbits. They are ridiculous.
At night time year round its nothing to hear a pack of coyotes yipping back and forth about something. One time they spooked me pretty good. I was in my storage building looking for something late one evening in the winter, and heard howling that sounded like it was coming from right outside the door. I stuck my head out and seen four of them boogers within rock throwing distance, only thing I had was some garden tools and a baseball bat. So, I just hung out in the building until they moved on.
We don't ever see them here where I live, but just a few minutes drive away there are several Elk. They are a big draw for the area, people are always out looking at the Elk, and it's usually not too hard to find them. They don't spook to easy either, I guess they are so big there isn't much for them to fear in this area.
