Default Thousand Trails

There is a campground chain across the U.S. called Thousand Trails. I would like to know your experiences in staying at these. We are planning a cross country trip and would like to make use of these camping facilities.

You lost me at "Campground Chain"

Out west there's plenty of National Forest and BLM land. Why pay to camp at a campground?
