I just had to share this joke with everyone, because it reminded me of my grandpa and his friends. My grandpa wears his hearing aids, but he never turns them on!

A coworker was complaining about the VA not wanting to replace his hearing aid. I told him to tie two buttons to opposite ends of a piece of string. Put one button in his ear and one in his pocket. He asked what would that do, and I told him it will cause people to talk louder.
