waiting to hear back from vet

We think our dog has kennel cough after what we have been reading, last week he went in to get fixed and now this week he is coughing like crazy. He has never been sick before and to make it worse, we are also dog sitting and I hear its contagious. This week is not a good week to start the New Year off with.

Oh no, sorry to hear your pooch is sick. I hope he feels better soon. We have a rat with a cold we are trying to get better right now. I know having a sick pet can be stressful.

Hopefully dog you are sitting has been vaccinated. We always keep our dog vaccinated because if you want to travel with your dog or board him you will sometimes be asked for the vaccination certificate. Hope he feels better soon.
