What I want to know is what the Twinkies were for? Was it the idea that there is so much preservatives and chemistry in them that they would protect you from the nuclear radiation, or what?

As a dinosaur, I'm a bit leery of asteroids. The zombies don't bother me. The fresher ones are actually quite tasty. I do keep a close eye out for the Army of The Twelve Monkeys.
