Default Woodchuck? Seriously?

Oh My! My grandma was telling us a story last weekend and it made my mom gag! I laughed… I guess when we were a lot younger we went to Grams for Christmas dinner. She fed us Woodchuck and turkey! My mom asked what it was and she said beef. She finally told us the truth after all these years. My mom was gagging! I was like – mom no way did I eat it and she said, no she would not let me eat the “beef” I had turkey! Gross huh?

Dan.Woodchucks eat only the best vegitation. When they raid your garden they take the ripe fruit because its the best.Make no mistake they make great table fair. And a lot less chemicals than that turkey was fed

Never had woodchuck, but I've been told that the meat is pretty fatty. I'd like to give it a try one of these days. I've never been one to shy away from unusual foods.
