Default Clarendon Shelter: A rainy day trip

With a thru-hike of the Long Trail planned for September, I decided to pack up and do an overnighter in the rain. I hate the rain, or did, so I thought I would get used to it.

Nice outing Jobiwan. I enjoy hiking in light rain as well, but I don't like breaking camp in it.

I usually dont like to hike or backpack in the rain, but your adventure has me rethinking trying it. Do you wear a special brand of jacket or pant to keep you dry?

Alice came to a fork in the road," Which road do I take"? she asked.
"Where do you want to go"? responded the cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter".
