Default Greenwall shelter, Long Trail, Vt

I spent a day camping at Greenwall shelter on White Rocks Mountain on the LT/AT this past week. The weather was great but I got sick.

Thanks , Fridge. Yea, Vermont has two seasons. Winter & July. No kidding. Killington ski resort has in the past opened the upper trails for employees in late August and has had skiers hitting the last of the upper slush as late as June. This leaves July the only month without any type of snow. This year in particular, Vermont has been hit hard and forecasts still predict more snow.

Yes! And I fell for it for a moment. I was even about to call GMC before I realized the date.
