Jabal Shams, Oman

Hi all, marhaba from middle east... Just wanna share some photos from our camping trip to Jabal Shams in Oman.

Jabal means mountains, and shams means sun in arabic language. This mountain is the highest peak in Oman and surrounding area, the top is around 3000m.

We went from Abu Dhabi around mid day and arrived in "middle east grand canyon" area of Jabal Shams in the late afternoon, it took around six hours drive including UAE-Oman border administration.

We only stay for one night, since this is just a weekend camping trip, but on the way home we visit the near Wadi Damm, wadi mean dry river, and damm mean hidden in arabic language...
