Default Another Hello from Ohio

Found the connection for Backpacker's forum - lots to look at here!
Obviously I'm a Scout Leader, in north central Ohio. Worked with Cubs, Boys and now Venture Scouts!
Headed to Philmont for the 4th time this summer..... got to love that piece of heaven!

Hi scouthiker! WV here although I have done a good bit of camping and canoeing in Ohio.

We did the Hocking River last year, and this summer did some hiking at Old Man's Cave in Hocking Hills State Park. Also canoed the Mohican River last year, and are planning a trip on the Kokosing next summer.

Have to say, I envy you going to Philmont. Never was able to do it when i was in Scouts, and although I'm a little involved with my brother's Scout troop, a trip to Philmont is out of my financial range at present... It's on my Bucket List though!
