Default Hi Everyone!
Hello everyone,

My name is Tom. I enjoy hiking, camping, shooting, fishing, survivalism, and geocaching. I am currently running a new blog. The goal is to gather the 20k my soon to be wife told me I needed if I plan on thru hiking the Appalachian Trail. Probably not going to happen until I retire in 40+ years from now. Anyhow gonna dive into the forums here and see what you are all about.

Welcome to the forums Kenser321. Don't wait until retirement to start. Do it in sections now. As a retiree, I find I have less time now for fun and games than when I was working.

I understand that, that trail runs close to the Worthington State Forrest campground in the Del Water Gap area. Site #16 is my favorite. Good luck & have fun.

Welcome to the site. Had a buddy that thru-hiked. He spent about 4-5k. Wont need 20k unless you stay in towns almost every night.
