Grandpa is on a distinguished road
Default Hi'yall from Idaho

Just an old farm boy here who has spent my whole life in the outdoors. Great grandpappy homesteaded here in 1864 and none of us has had the smarts or desire to leave. I've managed to wander a lot of trails throught the mountain west, fishing the rivers and lakes. Haven't hunted much out of the immediate area because got mule deer, elk and moose running through the back yard year round.

Retired now and usually get 40-50 bag nights a year, hiking 300-500 miles. Got a lot of hiking pards from across the country. I still can't get enough of Idaho's central wilderness', the Sawtooths, Church, and Selway with the Winds of Wy coming in a close second. But don't judge what I say, there is so much more I haven't seen.

Sounds like you stay busy Grandpa. Wish I could go that much. Maybe one of these days when I retire I can do the same and wander around in some territory I haven't been in before. Nice to meet ya!

Sounds like you've had some great trips Grandpa. I'd love to be able to go full time. Like Qweetzy said, some day when I retire, I'll be able to do much more than I get to do now. I want to hike the Appalachian Trail all the way one time in my life at least.
