Default A South Louisiana Cajun Cappy

Greetings campers. I am a chubby Cajun guy who has spent my whole 50+ years as an avid outdoors man. Me and my wife/playmate Peggy, love camping, fishing, cooking, hunting etc. I found this forum this morning, and after reading several posts, we feel we might have some 'stuff' to contribute and really enjoyed yall posts. I work on a boat for a living and am gone for months at a time, but when I am home it's for at least a couple weeks. When home, its our "vacation" time. With the kids all growed up we can camp, fish and play outside often. I grew up with primitive camping, backpacking, canoeing etc. Older now and more decrepit, we have an ultra-light 18 ft. trailer that we drag around. We feel we have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, and look forwards to, occasionally, puttin' our 2 cents in. We write a blog of our life from both here at home and also when I am on the boat, so stop by, peruse the archives and drop us a note. We look forwards to being members of this wonderful looking forum.

Thanks guys I got home Thurdaay and it rained till Tuesday, dried up pretty well so Peg and I are out in the yard today. you can imagine how long ya to do list gets if ya gone for a month. Hadda change the starter in ma ole jeep, and we mucking out the patio and yard. When we can't go camping we spend lots of time on da patio and around da fire pit in the yard. Now that fall is aproaching we wooping the yard into shape for cool afternoon camp fires.

Ty Sarge, since I'm a newbie this forum won't let me post links yet or I'd show ya my lil red jeep. It's a '81 wrangler that Peg(she bought it for me several years ago for Christmas) has named Tinkerbail on acounta I'm usually tinkering with her or bailing her out. I can hardly wait for cool fall weather to take her to the woods for adventures. I'll bring Peg along too.
