Default Apples and cinnamon

Have you ever roasted apples on the campfire? We tried this last weekend (Halloween celebration at the campground). You spear a whole apple and then roast it – peel off the skin once it’s brown and then dip or roll into cinnamon. It’s so yum! I gave each of the kids their own bowl of cinnamon so they could double dip!

Yum I'm game for this one. I would double dip in the cinnamon for sure. I think it would be good with sugar too or confectioner's sugar. I can't wait to try this. About how long do you have to keep the apple over the fire?

I think I will try this one too. Any other dip aside from cinnamon that would make it taste yummy? I'd like to try different dips for the children to decide which one they would like best.

What kinds of other dips would you consider? Caramel? Now that sounds like a wonderful thing to eat. How long would you roast the apple? I want to try this too. I’m going to have the wife pick up apples today and try it this weekend.
