Default Ash Baked Bread

This one is from the list of our Southern Europe's national specialties but it can be considered a camping recipe. All you need to do is prepare the dough and place it in the clay pot and put under hot ash. Leave it there for hour or two and you'll get yourself a tasty bread!

The first thing I thought was ashes, nasty. lol I had to read it twice but I understand now. I do have a question though. Where do I get a clay pot?

Good question Ruffles. What kind of clay pot are we going to use and where can we get one? I love to try this kind of cooking but what I know of clay pots is that they are used for planting and not cooking.

I wonder if it would work in a flower pot though? As long as it was a new one or a very well washed one I think it might work well.

Hey that's a good idea. I asked when I went to the store this morning and the lady told me they didn't have any clay based pots that would withstand a temperature of more than 130°F.
