Default Balance Exercises?

Has anyone any idea what I can do to help my balance a bit. My back is giving me fits and it seems to make my balance out of whack at the same time. I've been doing some core strengthening, or as much as I can, but it hasn't seemed to help the balance. I could use some tips.

Back problems = trip to doctor to get that checked first. Don't mess with a bad back. You can assess treatment after you know exactly what the back problem is. That doctor may also tell you much better than us "experts" why the lack of balance as well.

I agree. Go see an expert. See if you can find a doctor who specializes in sports medicine.

Seek out the experst in that field. I wouldn't rule out Chiropractic either. My chiropractor has done me right for many years and I swear by his treatments. Between chiropractic and physical therapy I have fixed / managed the back issues that ended my military career. Also don't be surprised if your doctor doesn't send you to another specilist for evaluation. One of my back issue was caused by a shoulder condition. A shoulder surgeon was the one who finally came up with the answers that got me back to normal.
