| Can't tell you too much about it but Grandma has found a website that lets you build your own cookbook. All the extended family has access to it and can add their own recipes. This includes her siblings and mine and all their offspring so it has become a large selection. When you add a recipe, you classify it and kid prep, home and kid prep camping are two of the categories. Of course, many recipes fit several categories. When it is one of the kids turn to cook supper, they go and peruse the kid selections.
Mainly because of our outdoor activites, our kids are learning cooking skills very early. I've mentioned before by age 10-11 they are fixing their own backpacking meals even if it is only to boil water and stir. But they are also learning real cooking as well. Whenever Grandma and Grandpa go for a visit, they are usually treated to one meal prepared by on of the younger kids.
