Default Campfire food projects?

I'm looking for things I can make with my GS troop, ages 9-12 around a fire other than s'mores. Does anyone have some easy, unusual ideas? They will be without their cell phones so I can't guarantee how long they'd be willing to sit.

pineapple upside down cake

1 clean tuna fish can
1 slice each sliced pineapple ring
enough yellow cake mix
foil

Have each girl put a slice of pineapple in a clean empty tuna fish or similar can.
mix up a yellow cake mix per instructions and put enough in each tuna can to reach 3/4 full. Wrap the can in foil and put in coals for 15-20 minutes or until done. Bake time will vary with type wood and amount of coals. Top with cool whip or other whipped cream.

I am of no help, because we always make s`mores. The pineapple idea sounds great, though. I believe there are pineapples, that come in a small can, in case anyone has an aversion to using tuna cans.

Grandpa--thanks so much! That sounds like a very easy and good to eat treat. I'm sure we'll enjoy it very much. MB-I'd peel off the wrapper when I cleaned them off, good point!
