Default Canned Goods of Preference?

What canned food do you like to bring? I usually won't carry anything with carbohydrates because I can cook that on the road but I do carry protein rich foods like tuna.

Tuna is my favorite, too. I love anything fish, though, and I also bring along sardines. Basically that's it for me on the canned stuff.

If we are going to stay in a campground, I will take beans and canned fruit with me. I like to make a treat if we are just going to be around in a state park or something like that.

I like canned peaches. The meat I usually have comes from the local landscape. Potatoes or rice is easy to carry and cook. A can of peaches is a great treat after dinner.

Hey guys forget the cans of tuna, I like the foil pouches it comes in now! :-) I avoid bringing anything in a can on my backpacking trips.

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

Tuna of course, I can't come up of a better source of protein like you said. I usually carry brown rice because it packs small and provides a lot of calories.

I also bring fresh food as much as I can carry but you need to make sure not to eat something that has been too long in the sun.
