Default Cleaning Cookware?

How do you clean your cookware on the road? I generally won't prepare oily foods that are hard to clean but when I do I use a small scouring pad, old bandana and water.

Boiling hot dishwater and bleach.
Rag and detergent.

I usually do the "rough" cleaning in a stream with sand. Then I finish with hot water and dishwashing liquid. I hate when something sticks to my pans. I usually don't bother with cleaning the outsides until I'm home and then I work on them.

When backpacking, heat a little water, wipe with a scotch pad, then a cold water rinse and a wipe with the towel. If it doesn't squeak with a finger rub, I do it again.

When tailgating, scrape the leftovers out of the dutch ovens or cast iron fry pans, flip them upside down over the fire and burn them clean. After they cool, wipe out with paper towel and veg oil, put the lid on and they are ready for the next meal. The plates (paper) and silverwear (plastic) go to the trash sack. We only use dish soap if there is a receptacle for it, which is seldom. Dish soap never goes on the ground.

Yeah, if you can use cast iron, it only requires water. Easy to clean up. If the seasoning comes off just burn it and start over.
