Default Coffee Can ice cream.

When I was a kid I remember we used to make coffee can ice cream. My mother would put the cream and sugar into a coffee can and then tape on the lid. Then she'd put the coffee can in a huge can that Idahoan instant potatoes came in and pack it with ice and rock salt and cover that can. Then she'd give it to us and make us roll it around the campsite for a half hour until we had ice cream. I hope I'm remembering this right. It's been a long time.

I made this too when we were kids but never at the campsite because my folks would never have wanted to carry ice out there. We did make it a lot on the 4th of July though and I remember it took a long time of rolling that can around.
