Default Easiest pancakes ever

I usually don't take a long a bunch of stuff for breakfast when we are camping usually just breakfast meat and some eggs. We went with some friends though and she made pancakes. All she did was take two packs of the "just add water" muffin mixes and added a little more water than it called for. After she mixed them she scooped them onto the griddle and voila...pancakes in less than 2 minutes.

That sounds like a pretty good idea and I bet they were good too. I would imagine you could add a little fruit to them, such as blueberries or even some pecans or walnuts to make them even more interesting (and easy).

Well those do sound really easy to make and will have to try that next time we go camping and are wanting some pancakes. I do like the idea also of adding some fruit or nuts to them. Maybe even bananas?

We have always taken the quick route too Bisquick makes a quick one so we just grab a jug of it before we head out. It is something we can pick up on the way out of town with drinks for the road trip too.

Yes we have used Bisquick too and it is quick. I like the idea of the muffin mix though and if I'm not mistaken they come in blueberry and other flavors. Those might be interesting.

I always have bisquick around the house. It was years before I actually read the directions. I used to just add milk to the mix. It works fine without the egg. Now I'm thinking: powdered milk and BQ in a baggie....just add water.
