Default Ever cooked a potato like this?

I found this on the internet and I am totally going to give it a try just because I want to see how it works. Have you ever cooked a potato in a can?

Here's what you do: Baked Potato in a Can
Use a tin can such as one from beans or vegetables. Generously butter the outside of the potato, season to taste. Next place the potato in the can and cover with foil. Put the can next to the fire of coals and let it cook for about 30-45 minutes. Do not remove the tin foil, even for a peek! You will have the best baked potato, perfectly cooked.

I have never done this before but I must admit I am intrigued so I will probably give it a try. I can't see why it wouldn't work well!

I can't say that I have ever tried this but I vaguely remember hearing that you could do that. It's simple enough to try. I love baked potatoes more than just about anything else!

My only complaint is that it takes so long to cook. I might end up putting it on the fire and totally forgetting about it, but it does sound very intriguing.

I've never heard this but I have cooked potatoes wrapped in aluminium foil and thrown in the fire so I guess this just seems like a thicker version of the aluminium!
