If someone will cook for me then I love to have fried egg with fresh vegetable salad. If no one is cooking for me then I just consume cereals because I am lazy to prepare food in the morning.

I usually don't trek very far,
when all around me black bears are.

I like eggs. For backpacking powdered eggs aren't bad at all and add a little cheddar and serve it up with grilled Spam or keilbasi, yum!

It's always got to be bacon and eggs and coffee for breakfast.

As for eating 3 full meals a day, I don't usually do that especially when I'm hiking. Usually, I snack frequently during the day. Breakfast and dinner are usually my full meals.

Theosus,

Why would make reference to setting people on fire?

If we have the time, we love making bacon and eggs, home fries and toast. But if we want to get moving we stick to a bowl of cereal or a toasted bagel or something simple.

You mean in my signature?
I don't know, I just thought it was something really funny. It doesn't mean anything, just something I read once. One I use on another board is:

"I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. Thank God for Search and Rescue" - Robert Frost's first edit.

I just thought of something. I mentioned the bacon-in-a-box earlier. I wonder how long it lasts AFTER you cook it. You are supposed either cook it all or refrigerate what is left. If you cooked it all for breakfast, but only ate half of it, I wonder how long it would be good? I used to think nothing of cooking bacon in the morning, and eating the leftover lean pieces at night after it had been sitting around. Never got sick before. Could you wrap up the pieces and stick them in a ziplock bag, and eat them that night? Or maybe during lunch? Improvised BLT without the L or the T.

Read my blog with its now correct address:

Charizzo & Eggs rolled up into a tortilla.
