Fried catfish

Is there anything better then some fresh caught catfish fried up with some sauce and hot sauce? Makes a great breakfast. I just wish I had some more.

I love fried catfish and we try to go cat fishing when ever we are ready to eat a nice mess of them. And yes, I can eat it for breakfast! Some don't like the idea of fish for breakfast but not us.

I absolutely love eating fried catfish. I also love it grilled, Cajun and blackened. I think it is probably one of the most versatile fish out there.

Hahaha, don't know if I would 'marry' any fried catfish but I sure do love them! I really like the small ones fired whole then I do the filets. They are just so much more tastier.

I absolutely cannot handle eating catfish and I have never known what people see in it. It has to be the most un-appetizing stuff on the face of the planet. (Pass the Peptol Bismol, please...)

Yummmmm! I love taking fresh catfish filets and shaking them in cornmeal with a little black and caynenne pepper than then frying them! Make up some hush puppies and fresh coleslaw, and I'm in heaven!

I must be one of the few then because I have never had catfish before. I have went out fishing with others before but I have never cooked it myself and I would not even know where to begin.

Sounds good to me!Up here in MA. we do have Channel cats and a little critter called a bullhead which is a bottom feeder sort of like a cat.Haven't fished for them since a kid but an old retired kid now so may start again.Would love to see some recipes!!!!!!!!!!!!
