Default Getting Rid of Mosquitoes

Somewhere I read this tip and I haven't tried it but it sounds plausible. Supposedly, if you take Listerine and spray your deck or your camping area with it, you will not have trouble with mosquitoes for the evening or the day. It does have to be done again, but it was reported that it works quite well.

I don't know about Listerene but I went out this year and bought two flats of Lemon Balm. I planted it all over a stretch of about twenty yards at my fishing hole by one of my ponds usually covered with mosquitos. Haven't been bit yet and I've only used mosquito dope once this year.

Both those sound interesting. I love Lemon Balm and will try to start planting some of that all around where we like to sit outside at night. And it can't hurt anything to try the Listerine trick to see what happens.

Well I like Lemon Balm so I can certainly plant some of that around. As to the Listerine, haven't hear about that one but I don't think it would hurt to try it once anyway and see what happens.

We have a big batch of lemon balm out back by the compost heap, but we never knew it was good for skeeters. The listerene thing works for 1 evening. We put it in a couple squirt bottles and spray our patio bricks. Generic listerene works too. Nothin' is perfect, but whit the listerine we notice a vast improvement. We are definately gonna try lemon balm. Thinking about picking a blenderfull of leaves amd making a liquid spray. Will let ya know. We mostly use the lemon balm in cocktails, like juleps or mohitos. After a few of those ya don't care if the skeepers are biting
